Who we are

We and our partners have long experience in creating and managing consumer goods brands all over the world, from the US to India and Japan to Azerbaijian. Examples of brands we at RBL have worked with include Hugo Boss, Gucci, Vidal Sassoon, Wrigley’s and Coca-Cola. Our partners have worked with a wide range of brands, including Bacardi, Toyota, Bud Light, and Bang & Olufsen.


  • Mattias Hulting

    Mattias is from Sweden, but has spent half of his life outside his home country. After obtaining a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics, Mattias worked 11 years at Procter & Gamble. During 6 of these years, he was based in Japan working across all Asian markets from Australia to India. He was one of the leaders of the global Vidal Sassoon brand, Finance Group Manager of the North-East Asia Hair Care portfolio, and led the work to bring acquired Wella Professional into P&G operations.

    Mattias speaks Swedish, English, and Spanish fluently, manages Japanese well, and can survive on his Mandarin Chinese.

  • Jonas Palm

    Jonas is from Sweden and has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Mid Sweden University in Östersund, where he also fulfilled his military service as a Border Ranger at the I5 regiment. Jonas worked 14 years at Procter & Gamble, of which the last 6 in Switzerland. Jonas has been in leading commercial roles for 30+ markets, mainly Europe. Spanning categories from the high-end prestige beauty to the full Procter & Gamble mainstream portfolio. Jonas has a vast experience in leading business via distributor operations and through dedicated business teams for key customers. Jonas is an expert in joint business planning and business development.

    Jonas speaks Swedish and English fluently, manages French well, and must learn Spanish soon as this is the language his Costa Rican wife speaks to their newborn son.

  • Peder Wikström

    Peder is from Sweden and has a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics and Universität zu Köln. Before co-founding Ramblin’ Brands he spent seven years in China leading businesses in cities most foreigners have never heard of. As National Sales Manager at Oriflame Peder accelerated growth and turned China into Oriflame’s fastest growing market globally.

    Leaving P&G in Scandinavia, Peder initially moved to China without ever having set foot there and unable to speak Chinese to start his first company – Ando China, which focused on industrial hardware and harbor supplies.

    Peder speaks Swedish, English and German fluently and manages Mandarin Chinese well.

  • Ian Swanson

    Ian is from the rolling hills of Wisconsin, U.S., and has a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. From the woods of Wisconsin to BBQ's in Bali to Sakura festivals in Kyoto, Ian has worked in creative agencies in San Fransicso, New York, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Singapore. 
    Most reAs Executive Creative Director at NiCE ltd, for the last 6 years Ian has founded and grown international creative offices, award winning multi-diciplinary creative teams, and crafted strategic creative vision's for some of the most successful global consumer & beauty brands in the world.
    Ian Swanson currently traveling the world in search of new sambal recipes, and is the Chief Design Officer for Ramblin' Brands.

  • Julio Guijarro

    Julio is a native of Madrid, Spain. After trying his hand at becoming Spain’s hottest DJ, he spent 17 years with Procter & Gamble working in Spain, Switzerland, Japan, and the U.S. He has been the global franchise leader of such well-recognized brands as Herbal Essences and Head & Shoulders, and has worked in every region of the world.

    Julio serves as our Marketing expert on the RBL Board of Directors.

  • Linda Kovarik

    Linda left her home in South Dakota, U.S., at the age of 20 and headed for Manchuria in northern China. After stints as documentary producer, UN programmes officer, sevents manager, and adventure traveller, she found her calling in the world of advertising.

    She spent many years at various advertising agencies in China, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Tokyo as a strategic planner, primarily focusing on beauty care brands. She was then appointed Creative Director for Coca-Cola Asia.

    Linda is currently CEO of Hong Kong-based My Creative Sherpa, and serves as our Brand expert on the RBL Board of Directors.
